Amelia is a great Icelandic teacher. She’s patient and helped me correct some grammar and pronunciation mistakes I’ve been making. Her lessons are varied, with listening practice, writing, reading, and speaking exercises and she did great tailoring lessons to my level.
Amelia is my icelandic teacher since a year, she is very organized, teach step by step, adapt to my needs, and she is also very flexible to my schedule! I have lessons with her every week, and I think it's a good rhythm to dive into this very challenging language!
OUR TEACHER
Amelia is our Icelandic teacher. Originally from Lithuania, she became fluent in Icelandic and has lived in Iceland for most of her life. With her unique perspective as a non-native speaker, she understands the challenges her students face and adapts her lessons to their needs. Amelia began teaching Icelandic to students from around the world in 2022. As her student base grew, she created SpeakNordicNow, focusing on helping learners master Icelandic with an emphasis on businesses and their employees. She is always eager to improve and make the learning experience more effective and fun.
